The PQ25501 is a high-speed serializer for long-distance transmission based on MIPI A-PHYv1.1. MIPI A-PHY is an asymmetric bidirectional transmission protocol. The PQ25501 supports 2Gbps and 4Gbps bandwidth for the downlink to transmit data signals, and 100Mbps bandwidth for the uplink to transmit control signals. It can support 15-meter Coaxial (Coax) cables or 10-meter Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables with an ultra-low Bit Error Rate (BER). It supports spread spectrum, cable error detection, and eye height monitoring, as well as various test modes such as PRBS, droop, and TX data error injection.
